Time & money are the major limiting factors for many people who love travel. Travel sometime is expensive, requires some energy & time commitment. Certainly, only a few people would have the opportunity to tour the world, and many of them (including me) can only dream to do so.

Thanks to Google Street View, which open up the opportunity for us to see many tourist destinations around the world, virtually of course. I have a Google Street View mashes-up blog running at http://streettraveler.blogspot.com/. Perhaps, Street Traveler is just a place for you to hang around when you feel like going somewhere. Each post in this blog represents the street scenery of a selected place. Here are some of the featured posts:

Just drag & drop the marker on the Street View to tour from one place to another. The Street Viewer has the option of four ways view. Navigating the larger Street Viewer will also pans the three smaller Street Viewers of the same location. In effect, you can view north, east, south and west at the same time, making it a full 360° view.

With that, I believe virtually travel around the places we dream of is just a matter of our time commitment to stay at home & sitting in font of our computer.
